Dr. Carter’s passion for helping people is what led him to a career in dentistry. A native of southwest Arkansas, Dr. Carter came back home to Hope, AR after graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. After opening his private practice in 1996 he realized there were too many FAMILIES in his community & the surrounding areas going without quality dental care & decided to do something about it.
Alongside his private practice he opened the 1st Smiles of Arkansas Dental Center in 2008 in Hope. The practices have grown exponentially from there opening 4 more in the neighboring communities in SW Arkansas and most recently in Frisco, Tx with Blue Star Smiles.
We have earned a very respected reputation as the premier provider of adults & children and our happy patients continue to prove it. Because we care deeply about our patients and their families’ overall well-being the heart of our practice is to make a continued difference in their dental health not just during their appointment but for a lifetime.
In his free time, Dr. Carter enjoys hunting, golfing, attending live country events, and spending time with his family. In addition, Dr. Carter has taken numerous mission trips to serve dental needs in the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and China.
